U Do it Legal

Client Proposal
The team at U Do It Legal wanted a self-service app to help low-income and lower-to-middle-class individuals navigate legal forms with a guided questionnaire.
Our Solution
To keep it simple for our users, we opted to use Squarespace as our base. Then we blended DocAssemble for questionnaires, Typeform for an initial assessment and Stripe for payments.

“KRUTSCH is a professional, knowledgeable partner who prioritizes user experience and consistently delivers high-quality work. In addition, I’ve greatly appreciated that they lead a communicative and responsive design and development process.”
Low-Code Development
Our low-code approach to U Do It Legal's app cut this project's timeline and budget in half compared to a fully custom solution. By blending commercially available cloud-based services with a popular CMS, we were able to launch faster and with more reliability.
Low-Code Freedom
A low-code approach means there won’t be any updates to worry about, and clients can handle everyday changes without the need for a developer.
Kelly Crabtree (Co-Founder and COO, U Do It Legal)
“As a non-technical founder, I particularly laud KRUTSCH for devising thorough explanations and instructional documents that are attuned to our lack of development and technical domain expertise. In doing so, they’ve kept us updated and knowledgeable of the work they’ve completed and, consequently, of our application’s inner workings.”
Branding
With the client’s input and repeated iteration, we were able to launch U Do It Legal with a strong, cohesive brand identity. Custom illustrations and other design elements combine to create an intuitive and memorable experience.
Launch
Once our review and testing process was complete, we were all officially ready for the first version to launch. Now we're using quarterly reviews to guide the ongoing maintenance.
